Bruce Martin has been a lifelong trusted friend and confidante. In the early years when he lived on Parkview, I remember going on fishing trips with both of our families when the kids were young, to many camping adventures.

Bruce always included us in his annual customer appreciation parties by the pool on Parkview, many days lounging by the pool sipping on cool ones, while Missy and my two kids swam and played in his backyard pool.

“I can still hear the music playing in my mind” with the Kamloops old time fiddlers providing the live music, and trays and trays of food and drinks, would keep coming… to spoil all attending the party.

I remember helping him to move up to Aberdeen where he set up a new trailer to live in, after he suddenly became single. Friends help friends… I will always miss his dedication to me and the timeless support he always provided me when I needed him in my own troubled times.

We spent many a lunch time together while he was checking in on his practice in Clearwater. My work happend to take me there at the same time, so we would meet up and share a meal.

I cherish all of the time spent with this wonderful man, who was a great husband and supporter of his dear wife Marcella. Bruce was a steadfast supportive father, and in later years a proud Papa! A true friend I am going to dearly miss.

RIP my friend. A life lived well! 💕

Bruce was my accountant when I had a small business and because of him I was able to be successful. His moto “Its not what you earn but what you keep” was so true and what kept me as a dedicated client. His fees were more than fair, if in fact under valued. He was a good man.

  9. Bruce Chappell says:

Bruce started as my accountant for our newspaper in Clearwater…and become a very close friend, confidant, and special person in my life. I will never forget his kindness, huge heart, positive outlook on life, and his willingness to look past another persons failings and see the good in everyone. He was there for me when many others had turned away and for that I will be forever grateful. Rest in peace my friend.

Dear family of Bruce. Bruce and I were same age and went to school together in porcupine plain. We called him “Brucie”in our younger years and we always had lots of fun growing up. As teenagers we hung around together at greenwater lake occasionally but I lost track of him after graduation. I see here that he did very well for himself ! Our family knew his family so his sisters also we knew. Condolences to all. Faye Dauncey Shaw
