Barbara Eileen Lee (née Gammer)

Barbara Eileen Lee (née Gammer), age 72, was born on September 6, 1953, in Penticton, British Columbia, where she grew up. She passed away peacefully in Kamloops, BC, on January 11, 2026, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Art Gammer and Mary Estabrooks Gammer, and is survived by her siblings Rick Gammer, Paulette Batstone, and Martin Gammer.

She shared part of her life with Alyn Lee, with whom she raised her two daughters, Nicole Lee and Andrea Lee. Barbara was a deeply supportive and protective mother who devoted her life to creating a loving home for her family.

She was a proud grandmother to Marina Lee, Ashley Holling, Reid Werner, and Matthew Werner, who brought her great joy.

Barbara was known for being gentle, fierce, and kind, with a love of horses and photography. To her friends, she was funny, loyal, and always a protector.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to Alzheimer’s research.
