It is with profound sadness and sorrow that the family of Garry Brian Scobie announce his peaceful passing on July 9, 2024 at the age of 74 years.
Garry is survived by his wife Doreen, brother Bob (Joy), brother-in-law Peter, niece Kristel, Alana and Melinda and nephew Peter. Stepdaughter Stacey (Dean), Nichole (Barry), step granddaughters Remy, Lyndsay, Danika and Shaylin, step grandsons Austin, Ryan and Sheldon (Paige), step great-grandsons Leonardo, Gerardo, and Callan.
Garry is predeceased by wife Judy, father Robert, mother Mildred and sister Marilyn and nephew Ken.
Garry will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, compassion for others, his joy in Christ and his witty sense of humor. Garry enjoyed golfing, music, playing crib, winters in Arizona and family gatherings.

I worked with Garry at Highland Valley Copper mine near Logan Lake in the late 1970’s. He had a wonderful sense of humor. My condolences to his family and friends.
