Margaret Patricia Yaremchuk

Mrs. Margaret Patricia (Pat) Yaremchuk of Vernon/Kelowna passed away peacefully at 86 years of age. Pat was predeceased by her loving husband, Albert, who passed in 2018 after 59 years of true partnership in a marriage which was the most important part of Pat’s life after her children. During their marriage, Pat and Albert probably spent fewer than ten nights apart from each other, and their respectful, attentive, and loving marriage will continue to be a model for us all.

Pat enjoyed playing all types of board and card games, and she was greatly loved by her family. She was known to occasionally be the life of whatever party she was at, to be very forthcoming with her opinions on how things should be done, and she never shied-away from standing-up for the people she loved. Pat is survived by her daughter Kimberly, and sons Mark (Shelly) and Kevin (Miriam). Pat is also survived by grandchildren Brandy (Travis, with great-grandchildren Landen, Mason, and Anthony), Bryan, David (Kathryn, with great-grandchildren Daphne and twins Charlotte and Winston), Joseph, Mitchell, Alexa (Michael, with great-grandchild Lucas) and Peter (Jonathan).

Pat was the youngest of 13 children in the family of Martha and Julius Neuman (following is in order of birth: Goldie, Len, Leo, Larry, Gertrude, Al, Art, Rose, Doreen, Selma, Don, Bud, Pat). With Pat’s passing, the final surviving Neuman sibling is Selma (Sally), who is currently residing in Edmonton.

In accordance with Pat’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Instead, the family asks that you please consider making a donation to your charity of choice, in remembrance of Pat if that is something that you would like to do.
