Norma Jean Lance

Norma Jean Lance of Enderby, BC passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born to Art and Leona Hunter on September 22, 1946, in Hanna, Alberta, Norma grew up in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Norma and her husband, Sam, divided much of their lives between Alberta and BC, where they owned and operated several businesses, before eventually settling in Enderby, BC.

Norma dedicated her life to her family and work. Beyond that, she found joy in the simple things. She loved gardening, crochet, and knitting, as well as playing crib with her friends in Enderby.

She is survived by her loving children; Cheryl, Ronda, and Beverly, and her grandchildren; Natasha, Brittany. Paige, Bradley, and Tyler.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Sam, her son Darcy, and her two grandchildren; Avanna and Sarah.

Norma endured an almost ten-year battle with cancer. Her family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Vernon Community Dialysis Unit, the Vernon Cancer Centre at VJH, and to the staff at Parkview Place in Enderby for their care.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday August 30, 2026, at the Armstrong Spallumcheen Cemetery – 4250 Highland Park Road, Armstrong, BC.
