Anna Coldwells (née Squeo)

Anna was born in Italy in 1940 and died July16, 2026 in Merritt, BC. She passed while in the arms of her soulmate of more than 66 years.

After several years fighting COPD and a compromised heart, she suffered a series of heart attacks. She was hospitalized for nearly a month before her heart ceased to function.

She leaves behind her husband Brian and their children Allan (Lisa), Debbie Wade (Terry), and youngest daughter Barb Blight (Don). In addition, there are seven grandchildren including Kerstina (Diego), Andrew (Lindsay), Jaydon, Quinn (Haley), Shae (Leila), Samantha and Jacob along  with 3 great granddaughters. Siblings that are survived by her include brother John Squeo (Gail), and sisters Angela Nath (Bob), and Adrianna Knox and sisters-in-law Lil and Rhonda. Others include nieces, nephews and friends throughout BC. She was predeceased by her brothers Frank and Vito and brother-in-law Glen Knox along with her parents Antonio and Agata Squeo.

Anna was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandma and “biznonna” to her extended family and to many friends.

She will be sorely missed by all.

Please note that a Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 pm on Tuesday July 28th at the Social Room at Maple Hills, 8590 Sunrise Drive, Chilliwack. Beverages and light snacks will be served.
