Norman John Enns

Norman John Enns, 84, of Vernon B.C., passed away peacefully in his sleep early Sunday March 15th, 2026 after struggling with heart issues and fluid on his lungs.
Norman Enns is preceded by his parents John and Marie Enns and his younger brother Mark.
He is survived by his sister Luella Novak, brother Lyle Enns, sister Laura Enns, beloved Daughter Angela Enns Sexsmith (husband Ross) beloved son Steven Enns (wife Susan) and grandsons Jacob and Noah Enns.
Norman John Enns was born on December 5th, 1941 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to parents John and Marie Enns. In 1946 the family moved to Peachland along with sister Luella and younger brother Lyle. Laura and Mark were both born in Peachland.
Norman Enns was a long time member of the Vernon Yacht club and was a very accomplished sailing captain. He was involved with the Vernon yacht club sailing team. He enjoyed many years of sailing with his family and young children as well spending many nights together on the water. He was an amazing carpenter as well as a carver of many native art pieces created by himself. Norman loved to sing and play his guitars and often attended open mic functions. His children grew up singing with him and learning his skills. He loved to ride motorcycles and collecting Triumphs and Harley Davidsons. He loved the freedom of riding.
A celebration of life will be held from 1-5 on Saturday March 28th, 2026 at the Vernon Yacht Club. It will be a casual event with family and close friends. The family wants to welcome any friends and acquaintances to pay their respects and give condolences. Flowers may be sent to the Vernon Yacht Club on that day.
Norm will be remembered by so many friends and deeply missed but never forgotten by his family.
