Ida Senger passed away peacefully at the age of 93 in Vernon, British Columbia. Born in Saskatchewan, Ida lived a full and meaningful life defined by kindness, humor, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of everyday living.

For many years, Ida worked as a property manager, a role she approached with care, dedication, and a genuine desire to help others. She cherished time spent with her family and friends and especially enjoyed sitting in the sun at local parks on weekend afternoons—quiet moments that brought her great happiness.

Ida was a truly kind and gentle soul who always wanted to please those around her. She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved life, and shared warmth and laughter freely. Her presence made people feel loved, welcome and cared for, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Ida was pre-deceased by her husband Norm Senger. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Debra Senger and her husband Jacques Hamel; her son, Phil Senger and his partner Monique Richoux; her sister, Margaret Andreas; and her grandchildren, Maya Senger and Andrea Senger. Ida was an honorary mom/grandma to friends of the family as well as Debra’s stepchildren and their families. She was blessed with many loving nieces and nephews. Ida will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

There will be no funeral service. A private celebration of life will be held with family at a later date.
