In Loving Memory
Patricia “Patty” Edwards

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patricia “Patty” Edwards
Patty was born on November 15, 1964, at Vancouver General Hospital and passed peacefully on January 7, 2026, at Vernon Jubilee Hospital, surrounded by family.
Patty is survived by her daughters, Dallyce (Max) and Lexie; her spouse, Steven; and her beloved fur baby, Sweet Pea or “Havoc”. She was deeply devoted to her family and held her close friendships with fierce loyalty and love.
Patty’s love was unconditional. If you were hers, you knew it. She was a lifelong animal lover and rarely lived without a fur baby or four. They were family, not pets, and they brought her constant joy. Patty loved road trips and vacations with her family and friends and met many people along the way, making lifelong friendships.
Anyone who knew Patty knew her love for music, especially Aerosmith and Steven Tyler. She was a devoted fan who traveled far and wide to attend concerts (always VIP) and met Steven Tyler several times. One of her most treasured possessions was the harmonica he once gave her. He also signed her arm with a Sharpie in Las Vegas (which is not really allowed in the industry but they both agreed that “rules are meant to be broken.”), then she marched straight to a tattoo parlour the next morning to make it permanent. She loved a good story, and she lived them.
Patty’s contagious laugh, quick wit, and unmistakable presence lit up every room she entered. She was generous to a fault and never hesitated to help someone in need, whether that meant a meal, a place to stay, a ride, or simply showing up when it mattered most. Above all else, Patty cherished being a mother to her girls, and loved them, as she would always say, “more than the whole world!”
A private celebration of Patty’s life will be held in her honour.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
In lieu of flowers, donations to: Okanagan Humane Society may be made in Patty’s name.
