Lorraine Marie Coyle

1934-2026

Lorraine Marie Coyle (nee Gallant) of Lake Country, BC and formerly of Stoney Creek, NB, passed away
peacefully surrounded by family January 13, 2026, at the Kelowna General Hospital. Lorraine was born
in Moncton, NB, to parents Benoit and Clara Gallant. She was the last surviving member of her
immediate family. Lorraine graduated from Notre Dame d’Acadie in Moncton. She spent her
professional career working at the Royal Bank of Canada, Air Canada and ending her career with
National Bank. In 1955 Lorraine would marry her husband Barry Coyle, they would spend the next 70
years building their life together. Lorraine and Barry would especially enjoy their time in Stoney Creek,
where they lived for 26 years. In 2022, Lorraine and Barry made the move to Lake Country, BC to live
with their daughter Claire. Lorraine will be deeply missed by her loving husband Barry, children Michael
(Abby) Dieppe, NB, Colleen Cuddeback Shediac, NB, Diane (Michael) McEachern Stoney Creek, NB, Claire Mattison Lake Country, BC, and Mary Lou (David) Truro, NS. As well as 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and numerous extended family members. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents,
siblings and son Kevin Coyle (December 11, 2025).

A Memorial Mass will be held January 22, 2026, at 11:00AM at St. Edward’s Catholic Church 11123 Okanagan Centre Rd. E. Lake Country, BC. Reception to follow.
