Dear Dorothy, Kevin and Mike, I’m so sorry to hear of Robin’s passing. My fondest memories of Robin are from when we were kids growing up in Winfield going swimming every afternoon down at Pixie beach with all of you guys, it was great. Riding motorcycles together up on Spinecop, I especially remember once hill climbing and Robin full throttling his Yammy 175 Enduro straight up the hill only to have it shoot straight up in the air with him falling off the back helpless to only watch his bike crash on the hill, pick it up and then of course get back on it and try again!
Also never forget at Wood Lake Elementary the year I was in a split class with Robin, he in grade 5 and me in grade 6 with Mrs. Jarvis our teacher. All I’ll say is there was never a dull moment that year, Robin provided lots of laughs, Mrs Jarvis wasn’t laughing mind you!
I saw Robin very little as adults but always enjoyed our occasional chats roadside when he was working for the district digging something up, haha. But again, sorry for your loss, I know you’re going to miss him so.
