In Loving Memory

Brian Michael Wilson

Brian Michael Wilson passed away peacefully at VJH in Vernon on Dec 14 at the age of 81. Brian was born in 1943 to Sy and Eleanore Wilson of Maple Ridge B.C. He married childhood sweetheart Noreen in 1965 and son John was born in 1973. In 1975 they moved to Hudson’s Hope where they resided for 40 years before retiring to Armstrong B.C.
Brian was a logger, bridge worker and highways worker. He loved his log home in the country in Hudson’s Hope, chopping wood for the fires, looking after his log guest cabin that he built from trees on the property.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, a good clam chowder, his Lab dog Buddy, and a beer after a hard days work. He was a quiet, thoughtful, fiercely loyal and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Brian leaves to mourn his wife of 59 years, Noreen, son John, brother Ron (Valerie), sister Patti (Brian), grandchildren Blake and Jordyn and several cousins and nephews.
There will be no service by request. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring.
