Betty Howson

In memory of Betty Howson (Fraser), loving wife of 63 years of Bob, Mom of Allen, Kathy, Bobby, and Karen (Jason) and Mum of Jan MacDonald, Grandma of Bryce (Barb), Andrea (Dave), Sarah (Ian), Justin, Fraser, Caelen, Devin, Shana, Will (Candace), Erin, and Tia, Great Grandma to Cole, Carter, Holly, Abbie, Katie, Blake, Elizabeth, Owen, Chloe, Aidan, Tara, Dillon, Nathaniel, sister to Gwen (Russ) and Aunt to Gail.

Born September 25, 1939, in London, ON to parents Elizabeth and Allen Fraser, Betty leaves behind a legacy of kindness. She loved fiercely and indiscriminately, and always chose to believe in the good in all of us.

Her faith was of great importance to Betty, it shone like a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was always the first to give her time to her community, her church and her family, whether it be baking, knitting, school events, picking up litter, or teaching Sunday school. She honoured birthdays by purchasing lunches for those who could not afford to. She travelled far and wide to attend countless school concerts, sporting events, graduations and was always there to mark special occasions for her children and grandchildren.

Everyone who met Betty will forever be the better for it, she will be missed beyond words.

A Memorial Service for Betty will be held on Saturday, November 30 at the Evangelical Free Church in Chase, BC at 1pm
