Born: Winnipeg, MB Resided and passed: Vernon, BC Canada
Forever loved and greatly missed by both her loving husband, David Lloyd Watts of 57 years and her surviving sister Kimberley Friesen.
Cherished by too many to mention, numerous extended family and friends with many nieces and nephews and greats who will carry her legacy forward.
Ivy lived the very meaning of “The Joy in Small Things”. Always busy and diversely talented she was always happy to share her knowledge with those interested. Ivy loved animals, nature, camping and travel, her home and curating love in all of her spaces. Quiet, gentle and whitty, she laughed a lot. Ivy loved her music, often choosing to dance through life’s moments. In the gardens, growing things or planting, canning food or painting, whether she was feeding the two legged or the four legged, Ivy was the very movement of Nature and Nurture in all that she lived.

Hi Dave,
You probably don’t remember us but you sold us our first Okanagan home – 1700 21st Avenue in 1998. Natalie and I still live there. Ivy (and you) were so kind to us when we decided to make the Okanagan our permanent home. Natalie and I were very saddened to learn about Ivy’s passing. Please know that we are thinking of you and take care of your self.
