In Loving Memory
Nadine Nakazawa
It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our beloved precious Nadine into the presence of the Lord she loved on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
Nadine was born in Saskatoon, SK on December 28, 1970. Loved deeply by her daughters Emma Austin, Chrislyn Austin and Melodie Tataryn, grandchildren Weston, Stella and Kylo, husband Terris Nakazawa, parents Horst & Christel Schwientek, Terry & Valerie Nakazawa, siblings Terry & Glenn Wudrich, Jenny & Tyler Chick, Tanja & Dustin Gellner, Amber & Chad van Kleef, Trinity & Dan Wolfe, Skylar Nakazawa & Dusan Magdolen, Donovan & Alice Nakazawa, nieces and nephews Sydnee, Emilia, Madison, Melissa, Tyson, Taven, Cole, Logan, Wyatt, Clay, Stella, and Mazel. Nadine will also be missed deeply by her many extended close family and friends.
Nadine was talented at every sport she ever tried, but excelled in the beauty of dance, gymnastics and singing. She was blessed to be able to watch her kids take on the same passions and shine in their unique talents as she did.
Her career paths varied in the spectrum of health care from nursing to funeral services. Nadine had the rare ability to show people they mattered and felt genuinely cared for within seconds of meeting her. She enjoyed giving back to her community by volunteering with groups such as the Kiwanis Club, Red Cross and church.
One of Nadine and Terris’ favorite hobbies was exploring water falls together and enjoying God’s beauty. Sitting under “her tree”, watching her grandkids playing in her yard and hanging out with her girls, friends and family is what she loved most!
Nadine will be immensely missed by us all.

Nadine will be missed. She always greeted with the warmest smile and of course a caring touch. She was so easy to talk to and made me feel cared for and important. It is such a great loss for all those around her for her to leave at such a young age. My heart goes out to her family for the loss of an amazing woman. Nadine, you will be missed.
Such a warm and friendly young woman. I recall her helping me years ago, going out of her way to assist me and Norm at a moment when we really needed help. She just had that kindness in her.
I will miss that beautiful smile and the sparkle at the family events we both attended.
Our hearts go out to all of Nadine’s family as they go through this difficult time .

Nadine was such a beautiful and vibrant soul. She will live on in the hearts of her sisters and loved ones. Sending much love and hugs to you all.
When I get where I’m going
on the far side of the sky.
The first thing that I’m gonna do
Is spread my wings and fly.
I’m gonna land beside a lion,
and run my fingers through his mane.
Or I might find out what it’s like
To ride a drop of rain
(Chorus:)
Yeah when I get where I’m going,
there’ll be only happy tears.
I will shed the sins and struggles,
I have carried all these years.
And I’ll leave my heart wide open,
I will love and have no fear.
Yeah when I get where I’m going,
Don’t cry for me down here.
I’m gonna walk with my grandaddy,
and he’ll match me step for step,
and I’ll tell him how I missed him,
every minute since he left.
Then I’ll hug his neck.
(Chorus)
So much pain and so much darkness,
in this world we stumble through.
All these questions, I can’t answer,
so much work to do.
But when I get where I’m going,
and I see my Maker’s face.
I’ll stand forever in the light,
of His amazing grace.
……..
Spread your wings and fly beautiful girl ❤️
