Wallace Joseph Sanderson
It is with great sadness and broken hearts, the family of Wallace Joseph Sanderson announces his peaceful passing on July 30, 2024. He was born in Lashburn, Saskatchewan, September 24, 1928 to William and Mildred Sanderson. Predeceased by his twin brother Bruce & eldest brother John. Wally was an automotive mechanic by trade running his own shops around BC. His love of music was evident as a Square Dance Caller for many years, travelling the world with his wife Evelyn, along the way making many great friends. He had a special interest in trains and the John Deere Tractors. His greatest love was his wife and family. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Evelyn. His children, David, Marie & family, Cheryl, Ed & family, Sandy, Helmut & family. His stepchildren, Carolyn, Bruce & family, Wes, Denise & family, Debra, Don & family, Melanie, Dave & family, Kelly, Lloydd & family, Todd & family, as well as many grandchildren & great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff on the 2nd floor of VJH for the excellent care they provided Wally in his final days. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If you wish to make a donation in Wally’s name please do so to the charity of your choice.

I’m so sorry Eve for the loss of wally I just got out of the hospital, or I would of sent this sooner. I loved wally he always told these stories and I remembered when I asked him to stand up and say a speech for our wedding he was so honored to do it.and he did it well I love you and my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

I’m so sorry to hear of Wally’s passing , and , I know you are missing him so much ! I hadn’t heard until I read this tonight. It’s so wonderful we can keep in touch this way, isn’t it ? I send you my love, prayers and condolences. It’s quite a change to get used to living alone.
