Andrea Rogers, a long time resident of Merritt BC, passed on June 25, 2023 at Overlander Extended Care in Kamloops at age 94. Predeceased by her husband Norman, and son Robert. Thank you to Dr. Howie and the nurses for their compassionate care.

A little tardy but goodbye to my mom in law Andrea….splendid in everything she did including producing Bob Rogers to whom I was married. Farewell.

Andrea was a bright, friendly and talented woman whom I got to know when I was working as the editor of the Merritt Herald in the early 80’s. She had so many interesting skills and she taught me a lot. We stayed in touch for many years after I moved back to the coast, although she was the better correspondant. I wanted to reconnect and I’m sorry to learn she was taken away from us, in her prime. You are well remembered and with love Andrea!
