Ron MacPherson
February 13, 1951 - June 8, 2023
In Loving Memory
Ron MacPherson
He worked alongside his father “Moose” at Interior Motors for over 20 years. He could fix just about anything and was very creative when it came to making things work!
On Thursday, June 8th, 2023, Ron MacPherson passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home in Enderby, B.C. with his family at his side. Ron was born in Enderby on February 13, 1951 and lived most of his life here.
His quick wit left people wondering “is he serious?” and he always had a practical joke just waiting for the unsuspecting person. He loved to tease and nobody was off limits.
Ron was an Enderby volunteer firefighter for 28 years, with the last 9 years being Fire Chief, the position being passed down to him by his father.
He was also a talented athlete and loved sports. He played baseball with the Enderby Legionnaires and was part of the team when they were inducted into the Okanagan Sports Hall of Fame in June 2013 for winning the Western Canadian Baseball Championships in 1982 and 1984.
Ron also enjoyed playing hockey from a young age through to the beer league. He was also very active in the Hunters Range Snowmobile Club for over 30 years.
But his passion was hunting and fishing. He was a founding member of the “Elk Busters” Club and looked forward to his yearly trips with his buddies Kirk, Dave, Doug F and Doug B.
More recently he delighted in spending time with his 6 grandchildren. He loved listening to their stories and actively followed their sports activities.
He is survived by his son Colin (Sarah) and daughter Nadine (Sam) as well as grandchildren Damon, Carter, Peyton, Taylor, Charlotte and Nixon.
He was predeceased by his mother Jean and father Moose as well as his nephew Jeremy and brother-in-law Marvin.
His large and loving family will be memorializing him on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 1 pm at the Enderby & District Fire Hall. Please join us for a final send-off on his last fire callout.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Enderby Minor Baseball in Ron’s name.

our condolences to family
Dave and myself offer our most sincere condolences to the entire MacPherson family. Due to prior commitments, we will be unable to attend “Don’s last call”. Our thoughts will be with you as you share memories and say goodbye.
My deepest condolences to his family. I met Ron through skogies and he taught me so much about mechanics. And, funny enough, how to be a better person. Always one for a good rib…… this was only exceeded by his kindness, thoughtfulness, and friendship. Shirt off his back kind of guy. His friendship helped me through the hardest days of my life up to that point. I can’t say enough about him. Always smiling. Always ready. Sharing his children’s achievements. It warms me to my core he was at home and with those he loved so deeply. Rip
