Myna and I would like to offer our condolences to your entire family. We were connected with John, Janice and Cole through the Kalamalka Highlanders Pipe Band. We both have very fond memories of the three of you through travel, parades, and events. John was a big man, with a big heart. He was very thoughtful and always pleasant and helpful in any setting. People like John leave a huge hole in our community, and we were all uplifted by his thoughtfulness. We share your loss with you.

This sad time. Heather
I was sorry to read about John’s death. When I moved to Armstrong, confused about care of my first house, he was kind to me. I’ll be thinking of you.
My condolences to you Angela and all your family in the loss of your dad/spouse/brother. All losses of loved ones are challenging but sudden losses can be even more so. Sending you and your family heartfelt love as you navigate this grief journey.
Dear Janice, Angela, Collin, Cole and all of your families,
I am so sorry for your loss.
I always found John to be kind and considerate and very helpful!
He will be sorely missed!
Love from Catherine
Very sad to hear of John’s passing. He was an incredible person who gave more than was asked through his work at Shepherd’s Hardware. I met him while working with my father, Pete Pasechnik. I was learning the construction trade and John was a constant source for our construction bids. After Pete passed away in 2018 our family needed some resources to clean up and pass along the many items a construction guru collects. John was that resource who knew a guy, that knew a guy that could do anything! He was always available to take a call, would find that item or person to get the job done!
I know he will be missed by the people he met through his work, and I am sure this incredible personality gave even more to his family and friends that will feel that void indefinitely.
Condolences to his family and all that knew him…
